Last Few Days of Exhibition: Bamboo: Tradition in contemporary form


Bamboo groves are a quintessential part of the Japanese landscape, and bamboo weaving is one of the oldest technical skills to have developed in Japan. The exhibition showcases among others 22 contemporary and  5 traditional bamboo Japanese bamboo artworks. Made possible with the efforts and support of Mr S. Baillieu Myer AC and Mrs Sarah Myer.
A must see for the lovers of bamboo art and its design and structural capabilities. The exhibition opened at 07/07/2016 and will remain open untill 29/01/2017.
